Finally, this Southeast Texas girl has some good cajun comfort food in TN!! YES... I ate here three times this week but who's counting (ok, I am). Once with Ella Kate (she LOVES gumbo), another time with play group and then I had to take Shawn there yesterday for lunch. Excessive you ask? Possibly, but I need to grocery shop, so this made for good hot non-greasy food for the week. It is YUMMY. The chicken/andouille sausage gumbo is almost as good as my Grandmama's and the crawfish pie was yum-o. I have heard tale that their beignets on Saturday mornings are delicious too. Let me know if you try it and tell them Heather sent you (I think I'm working on commission at this point). Joie de vivre!
