Both of our moms were just issued mandatory evacuations from the pendingstorm, Gustav.
One of our moms is a rule follower,
the other...
well, she's not.
You guess which is which. (wink)
In her defense, evacuations are about as fun as digging your eyeballs
out with a spoon. You move at a snail's pace and it takes about
5 hours to go about 40 miles.
The gamble is that you may go to all that trouble for nothing,
and then again,
maybe it was all for a lot of something.
Please pray for our family's safety.

Do you have an update??? I am guessing Momma Hanks will stay and ride out the storm while Momma Price will hit a hotel seeing that she lost her house to fire a year ago...a year right? Poor thing!
When you pray about something and the Lord gives you peace on what to do then you do that. I have had wonderful peace through the whole situation. Even had a wonderful church service with "ole friends" Adam Pardue Sunday, when there weren't any churches opened except FB Pt Neches, and many other friends and family being together. God has blessed me in many many ways the past several days. It has really been nice and quit in the town also. I am very thankful God blessed and all worked out ok. God is good and God is always faithful if we will just put it all in HIS HANDS.
