Ni Hao!

This week ends Mia's study of China and Marco Polo at school. This study allowed the kids to learn to write Chinese characters, paint kites with Chinese symbols and learn to speak in a new language.
Last week her class even had a China tea party which included eating Chinese food
with chopsticks and drinking authentic hot green tea. One of Mia's good friends in the class is from China and was able to provide a lot of authentic momentos from the country. Mia loved it all and the hot tea was her favorite. All of the kids dressed in traditional Chinese clothing and had a great time.
